Autumn 2024 time schedule
Bachelor and master’s students who aim to graduate in autumn semester must submit the final thesis proposal form in Canvas by May 31st 2024 at the latest
Final thesis has to be chosen also in MyEBS by July 31.
- The final thesis proposal must be submitted in a course in Canvas (Course link HERE ) where students can enroll themselves.
- The proposal form must be specifically on the form which is available at the proposal course homepage.
- Only proposals accepted by the supervisor continue in the final thesis process.
Process for the bachelor’s thesis
- May 31, 2024 – submission of the final thesis proposal in Canvas, supervisor approves the proposal in Canvas
- July 1–31, 2024 – thesis enrollment in MyEBS
- October 11, 2024 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor for interim reporting
- October 18, 2024 – the interim report/confirmation regarding progress has to be submitted by the supervisor in Canvas
- November 29, 2024 – graduation requirements deadline
- December 20, 2024 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor to be allowed to the final evaluation
- January 6, 2025 – the supervisor confirms (along with the filled-in rubric) that the student is allowed to the final evaluation
- January 13, 2025 – thesis submission in Canvas for final evaluation
- Two reviews (if grade diverges, then three)
- All reviews in the form of the rubric are visible to the students
- January 31, 2025 – the final grade is published
Process for the master’s thesis
- May 31, 2024 – submission of the final thesis proposal in Canvas, supervisor approves the proposal in Canvas
- July 1–31, 2024 – thesis enrollment in MyEBS
- October 11, 2024 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor for interim reporting
- October 18, 2024 – the interim report/confirmation regarding progress has to be submitted by the supervisor in Canvas
- December 2, 2024 – thesis submission in Canvas for pre-defense
- December 9-13, 2024 – pre-defenses of theses
- January 3, 2025 – thesis submission in Canvas for final defense
- January 13–17, 2025 – defenses of theses
