Spring 2026 time schedule

Bachelor’s and master’s students who want to graduate in the spring semester must submit the final thesis proposal form by December 1, 2025, at the latest in Canvas.

The final thesis must also be chosen in MyEBS by January 15, 2026.

  • The final thesis proposal must be submitted in a Canvas course (Course link; you must click ‘Enroll in course’ to be registered for the course), where students can enroll themselves.
  •  The proposal form must be completed only on the form available on the proposal course homepage.
  •  Only proposals accepted by the supervisor continue in the final thesis process.

Process for the bachelor’s thesis

  • October 1 – December 1, 2025 – submission of the final thesis proposal in Canvas
  • December 1, 2025 – last day, when the supervisor must approve the proposal in Canvas
  • December 20, 2025 – January 15, 2026 – thesis enrollment in MyEBS
  • March 16, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor for interim reporting
  • March 23, 2026 – the interim report/confirmation regarding progress has to be submitted by the supervisor in Canvas
  • April 28, 2026 – graduation requirements deadline, final grades of all courses (mandatory and elective courses) are finalized
  • May 4, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor to be allowed to the final evaluation
  • May 13, 2026 –  the supervisor confirms (along with the filled-in rubric) that the student is allowed to the final evaluation
  • May 18, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas for final evaluation
  • June 3, 2026 – the final grade is published

Process for the master’s thesis

  • October 1 – December 1, 2025 – submission of the final thesis proposal in Canvas
  • December 1, 2025 – last day, when the supervisor must approve the proposal in Canvas
  • December 20, 2025 – January 15, 2026 – thesis enrollment in MyEBS​
  • March 16, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas to the supervisor for interim reporting
  • March 23, 2026 – the interim report confirmation to be submitted by the supervisor in Canvas
  • May 7, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas for supervisor evaluation
  • May 14, 2026 –  the supervisor evaluates the thesis pass/fail and provides final improvements
  • May 25, 2026 – thesis submission in Canvas for the reviewer and final defense
  • May 29, 2026 – the student will be informed of the approval to the final defense and receives reviewer’s feedback
  • June 1 – 5, 2026 – final defenses of master theses
