Two years, two countries, two cities, two universities, two degrees. This 2-year double degree MA programme at EBS and the University of Liège spans two countries, cities, and universities, leading to two degrees. It offers a unique opportunity to broaden your international network.
In the first year, at EBS you will lay the foundation for business innovation and research methods. In the second year, at the University of Liège you will take the specialisation courses with a focus on marketing including topics such as Consumer Behaviour and Digital Marketing Strategy, Sustainability, and CSR. This programme not only provides international experience but also awards two MA degrees, preparing you for leadership roles in a global context. As a graduate of a double degree MA programme, you are a forward-looking, ambitious, and innovative leader, equipped with the essential business and professional skills.
HEC Liège, situated at Europe’s crossroads in Belgium, has a rich 200-year history and provides a comprehensive educational experience across 11 faculties and 4 campuses in 3 cities. Structure of studies
– I year at EBS: Advanced courses
– II year at HEC Liège: Developing professional knowledge and skills in chosen field at HEC Liège
You will need to have completed at least 60 ECTS of MA studies at EBS before entering Liège. This means that you need to pass all of your first year courses.
Your second year will take place in Belgium. Autumn semester in Liège begins in mid-September. The first semester will have courses, and the second semester will have the Master’s thesis plus either a couple of courses or an internship, depending on the student’s interests. Graduation will take place also in Belgium with your fellow course mates at HEC Liège.
Practical side of your time at HEC Liège
Tuition fee: You will keep paying your tuition fee to Estonian Business School. The tuition fee will be the same as if you were to stay at EBS.
Living expenses: Those you need to cover yourself and no special scholarships are available. Should you have outstanding student’s scholarships, that will be valid also while at HEC Liège.
The campus: Your studies will take place in the city centre at HEC Management School, the address being Rue Louvrex 14.
About the Master’s Thesis and graduation: Liège will be in charge of the Master’s Thesis process, and the supervisor will come from Liège’s side. Once you graduate, you will be awarded the Master’s degree “Master en Sciences de gestion a finalité spécialisée en International Strategic Marketing” by Liège and the Master’s degree “Master of Arts in Social Sciences, International Management” by EBS.
