Internship with APEL

APEL (Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning) application process for passing internship at EBS

Please read the statements below and answer yes / no.

• I have at least 1 year of professional experience.
• My work experience is in an area that supports my studies.

If you answered YES to both questions, you can start the APEL process.

APEL process

• You can find the APEL application HERE.
• You can get the information needed to prepare the APEL report from the internship coordinator. The content of the report must correspond to the assignment provided.
• The APEL committee has the right to ask for additional evidence of previous work experience (e.g. contract, job description, extended CV).
• The APEL application processing fee is 50 €. A copy of the payment order must be sent to the coordinator together with the APEL application.
• In case of a positive assessment decision, the APEL fee for transferring the credit points must be paid, which is calculated based on the credit point price list (50% of the credit point price of the respective programme). More information about the payment policy is available HERE.
• The positive assessment decision may include the condition to share one’s professional experience with fellow students.
• In case of a negative assessment decision, the student has the right to complete the internship as usual (enroll in the course in MyEBS).
• The student can only submit the APEL application to cover both internships in one go. (2EAP + 4EAP).
• We recommend that you submit the internship APEL application before enrolling in the nominal internship course to see if you need to do it or you will be able to cover the internship via APEL.
• If you want to use the APEL framework to complete the internship, it is important not to enroll in the internship course in MyEBS.
