Credits (ECTS) earned abroad

Estonian Business School has the obligation to transfer (recognise) credits , exams and other academic work of an exchange student in a foreign country as being equivalent to those in EBS.

To study abroad, it is best to use the Mobility Window. Studying abroad with Mobility Window means that students can choose the courses they like and all of the credits will be transferred. It is also possible to study abroad on a different semester, in this case students have to consult with their EBS Study Consultant.

Prior to going abroad, student should compile a Learning Agreement and confirm it with EBS Study Consultant and a responsible person at the receiving institution. Such an agreement provides student with a sense of security that his/her studies abroad are in accordance with the requirements of EBS and guarantees that student’s academic results are afterwards transferred.

Student must pass a minimum of 15 ECTS each exchange semester.
Recommended study load abroad is 30 ECTS.
