Courses

Incoming exchange students can choose suitable courses from a variety of topics that have been preselected by EBS to ensure they are fitting and appropriate for exchange studies. All classes are taught in English and taken alongside degree students.

Below you will find course lists from past semesters as an example what we offer for exchange students. Updated information regarding future courses will come through Erasmus+ Project Manager. The lists shown here are meant only as an indication of available choices!

Please note that undergraduates can take only Bachelor level courses while graduates have the option to take both Master and Bachelor level courses. That is to ensure that the classes are suitable for student’s study level as well as enriching for the fellow students as most classes are focused along other things on peer-learning.

Please be also aware that we do not accept any conversion lists and/or can approve them. Some schools use past courses as indication what the student can take and replace at their home university but we can change requirements and course details every semester. That means past courses are not guaranteed to be the same as we are offering in new semester, so student should always look at the current offerings and make the decision based on that.

Estonian Business School follows Minister of Education and Research of Estonian Republic regulation no 36, 16.08.2019 „The uniform grading system and the conditions of and procedure for issuing diplomas and diploma supplements“. Per the regulation the grading scheme is as follows:

Type 1, differentiated

A = excellent

B = very good

C = good

D = satisfactory

E = sufficient

F = insufficient

Type 2, non-differentiated

Pass/Fail format

The minimum passing grade is E, in the Pass/fail assessment it is P (pass). Please note that both types are used at Estonian Business School and every lecturer determins the type of grading they choose. That information will come available in the beginning of the course. It is not possible for us to issue a transcript of records where Pass/Fail format is turned into A, B, C etc. However, we can issue a separate document which shows students progress in Pass/Fail format courses.

Exchange students are expected to take 30 ECTS (full workload) per semester. They cannot take more but can take less, depending on the conditions of their home university. Please check the requirements your home university has set for you before finalising your course choices.
