Dear international student in Estonia (from non-EU country)!
You may have heard that many sectors of the Estonian labour market experience labour shortage, while numerous international students studying in Estonia are actively seeking for employment opportunities. One of the problems lies in the fact that international student job seekers and employers often struggle to find each other. Moreover, the lack of information between these two parties might be causing mutual (false) assumptions and thereby hinder a potential successful employment relationship.
Our project seeks to tackle this problem!
The Institute of Baltic Studies is conducting project that seeks to introduce the Estonian labour market opportunities to non-EU students. As part of this project, around 30 training sessions to introduce the Estonian labour market opportunities to non-EU students will be organised.
In these training sessions, you will learn more about (and get answers to):
- basics of the Estonian labour market
- local working culture
- what to expect
- how to seek for a job
- how to tailor your application for success
- how to apply
- how to perform at interviews
Participants are also the first ones to be invited to the upcoming networking and joint events with employees (more information will be available soon).
Training sessions are FREE and open to every non-EU student currently enrolled (full-time) in Estonian universities.
The first three trainings will take place in December. Please choose one date for the training. The training sessions are the same and only differ in their dates.
