Student life and free time

Once you are settled and paperwork is done it’s time to enjoy your time here at EBS and in Estonia. Below you will find an overview of different school activities and possibilities, as well as recommendations to discover Estonia.

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) EBS

ESN EBS is part of EBS Student Council. ESN EBS will contact you directly before your exchange period starts, to offer you guidance, information and to connect you with other exchange students. Every exchange student has the option to get a tutor/buddy by ESN EBS. A tutor is an EBS student who will help exchange students with all the practical everyday matters during their stay in Tallinn. ESN EBS also organizes different events for the exchange students during the semester, ranging from pub crawls to quiz nights to trip to Lapland to volunteer work. There is something for everybody.

Head of ESN EBS is Ms Helena Reimo (helena.reimo@ebs.ee).

EBS exchange students can also participate in ESN Tallinn activities, more info can be found here.

EBS Student Council

EBS Student Council is the heart of EBS: they organize events, share information, stand for student rights and opinions and offer support where needed.

Beside Student Council and ESN EBS we have also Sports Club and Investment Club. Exchange students are welcomed to join them either by participating in the events or become one of the organisers. More information can be found here: ebsikas.

You can also find them in our social media: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.

Tallinn as a city

Tallinn has a lot of different museums, concerts and festivals. There are restaurants for every palate. Nature is part of Tallinn, be it a swim in the sea or a calming walk in our endless parks. In year 2025 we are also the European Sports Capital and in the summer of 2025 a huge traditional song festival took place. You can find more information on official Visit Tallinn webpage: Event Calendar – Visit Tallinn.

As our staff members are also always eager to share their favourite places in Tallinn, here are some study department recommendations:
