Free Mover
We welcome all free movers from all over the world. However, please note that there are some requirements that the potential student needs to follow in order to be accepted as an exchange student.
Free mover option is available for both bachelor and master level students.
Requirements:
– Student needs to speaks English at least on B2 level and have a certificate which proves it.
Accepted documents
– TOEFL iBT score 87 or above (EBS code 6744)
– IELTS Academic minimum score 5.5, with 5.5 or above in each band
– Cambridge test FCE, BEC (Business English Certificate) Vantage (CAE; CPE are suitable as well)
– IELTS Indicator test and TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition
– Duolingo test (min score 100)
– Home university language certificate stating the minimum level of B2 (certificate has to confirm CEFR minimum B2)
– Student needs to have an average GPA 3.00 or higher out of 5.00 (or equivalent from home university).
– Student needs to have studied in their study level for at least a semester before the start of their exchange period.
Application process
Application deadlines are the same every year
– for Autumn semester 15th of May
– for Spring semester 15th of November
For admission as free mover students for academic year 2025/2026 please fill out the application form here and send the following documents via email to Ms. Ellika Eero (ellika.eero@ebs.ee):
– Bachelor students: official transcript of grades from your home university in English
– Master students: Bachelor’s degree diploma in Business Administration of Economics or equivalent.
If you have Bachelor’s degree in another field then official transcript of grades of prerequisite subjects: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Financial Accounting / Financial Management
– Certificate of an official English test
– Letter of motivation (one A4)
– A copy of your passport or ID card
Once you have filled out the application and sent necessary documents, the decision will be made and we will notify you one week after the application deadline the latest.
If you are accepted you will receive an acceptance letter. Please note that we send letters out in the form of an email. If you need the acceptance letter to be in a PDF format, please write to Erasmus+ project manager separately.
Tuition fee for free mover students in 2025 Spring semester
Tuition fee per semester on Bachelor level (30 ECTS) – 3500€, fee per one credit 130€
Tuition fee per semester on Master level (30 ECTS) – 4200€, fee per one credit 150€
Students will be registered for a full course load of 30 ECTS. If a student takes more than 30 ECTS, an additional fee per credit will apply.
